ModulFlex

ModulFlex is a system designed to make plastic modular chain conveyors for every application.

The ModulFlex system allows maximum flexibility and is adaptable to all major modular chain brands for chains with a pitch of one inch or less. The dimensions arise because the system is designed specifically for the packaging industry, where it is very rare to need larger loads and heavier chains. M.H. has a framework agreement with Intralox for the supply of modular chain systems.

ModulFlex allows for both straight and curved paths to cover any layout requirement. The structure is made of smooth anodised aluminium profiles for food applications with a risk of sedimentation or with double grooves to facilitate the attachment of guides or accessories. The strength of the modular chain is obviously its flexibility, the applications that cannot be covered are few niches; it also offers stability, low noise, speed and, most importantly, better safety.

Having to develop a standard that was as universal as possible M.H. chose the following dimensions:

Curved paths:

- 101 mm (4 Inches)

- 152 mm (6 Inches)

- 203 mm (8 Inches)

- 254 mm (10 Inches)

- 305 mm (12 Inches)

  • The component system can be adapted to any size or accessory (rubberised inserts, flights) on request. AISI 304 version for sanitised conveyors is available.
