Ambaflex Accuveyors are dynamic systems, particularly suitable for applications requiring high speeds and FIFO logic. At MH we have chosen two models to integrate into our lines: the AVx multi-stage buffer and the AVh pressureless accumulator system (patented).

The first system is particularly suitable for applications where storage space and high operating speeds are required. The operating principle is simple: a diverting device feeds two multi-track spirals, one ascending and one descending, with independent drives for each track. One of the tracks is dedicated to normal operation, the others are kept empty pending the need for buffering. When the downstream line stops, the empty lanes are filled in sequence and at the restart they are emptied in the same way to maintain the order of product loading.

The AVh system, on the other hand, is a true dynamic accumulation system in which the length of conveyor belt travelled by the products increases and decreases in real time depending on the demands of the line.
