Snake accumulation
The simplest and most economical system, only for cylindrical products, reduced accumulation by upstream emptying.
Technical features:
- Floor space: depending on conveyor width and length, overhead installation available
- Height: 800-1200 mm depending on line height

- Strip width: depending on product width
- Accumulation: depending on the space available in the plant
- Productivity: variable
Series of conveyor belts arranged adjacent to each other, opposite directions of travel.
Normal operation: the products pass over the belts leaving a gap so that the space not occupied by the products is at least half the overall length.
Accumulation: products start to accumulate on the last belt of the serpentine. Once the overflow photocell is reached, the belts stop.
Restart: the belts restart at an increased speed depending on the downstream overcapacity. Once the gap between the products has been closed, the line speed is restored.
